Found: Our New Favorite Chandelier by Foscarini

Today we’re traveling back in time to the Gilded Age; the roaring ’30s. Our most recent design obsession is chandeliers; when faced with a cavernous entryway or too-formal dining room, nothing adds warmth and beauty like a designer chandelier.

During our search for the perfect chandelier, we fell for Caboche, designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto for Foscarini. This stunning design was modeled after the stacks of bracelets the uber-stylish flapper girls wore in the 30s. According to Chandeliering, the Caboche design is a study in beautiful contradictions; it is jeweled, yet elastic; classic, yet modern; useful, yet extravagant.

Tell us, what do you think about this design?
