Music legend Billy Joel has recently expanded his real estate portfolio by acquiring a luxurious property in East Hampton for $10.7 million. The purchase adds another jewel to Joel’s collection of impressive homes.
The five-bedroom estate sits on a sprawling five-acre lot on Town Lane and boasts features that cater to both luxury and equestrian enthusiasts. The property includes a fully irrigated Grand Prix field, a sand ring, a pool, and a picturesque lily pond, making it a haven for relaxation and outdoor activities.
Joel’s new home places him in the company of several other celebrities who have made East Hampton their retreat. Notable neighbors include power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, actor Robert Downey Jr., and Neil Patrick Harris, creating a veritable enclave of A-listers in the area.

This purchase aligns well with Joel’s personal life, as he married his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, an accomplished equestrian, in 2015. The couple, who share two daughters, Della Rose and Remy Anne, can now also enjoy the property’s extensive equestrian facilities.
