On the evening of May 6th, the Diamond Awards event was held at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. This event has been known to be the most esteemed corporate awards program that the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce has to offer. This distinguished event has been occurring since 1997 to appreciate and recognize those who have provided quality service in the area. Along with many other names that were applauded for their efforts, Alirio Torrealba, the CEO of MG Developer, was awarded the 2022 Business Leader of the Year Award. MG Developer is a well-known property development company that is based in Coral Gables.
“I am overwhelmed and humbled and truly beyond grateful for the support I’ve received from the Chamber, City, and entire Coral Gables community,” said Torrealba.
President and CEO of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Mark A, Trowbridge held high praise for Torrealba as well, “He (Torrealba) has also been a key proponent and generous supporter of philanthropic efforts and organizations that elevate the city’s standard of living, including the Coral Gables Community Foundation and Coral Gables Museum, FundaHigado among others – he is truly deserving of this honor and we are thrilled to bestow it upon him.”
Torrealba was born in Venezuela and moved to the United States which led to his commitment to reinvestments in real estate within Coral Gables, and has now distinguished himself as the most active developer within the area.
