Furry pillows, soft throws, candles and wood accessories can be used in a living area creating a cozy feel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holiday d\u00e9cor can easily enter the realm of \u2018hokey\u2019 or contrived. What are some important tips to keep in mind when decorating a sophisticated interior for the holidays?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One tip is to keep holiday decorations simple and clean. Group accessories and limit the colors used, so the look is elegant, not cluttered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could change one element of a room to improve people\u2019s first impression of the space, what would it be? Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One important element is lighting. It sets the mood in any living space.
