A quality home office is key for 2023. We ensure the basics are covered: cabinets and millwork to maximize storage, space for a screen to better review documents, and a comfortable and chic work chair. We like to elevate with custom glass doors that increase light but keep out the noise during a Zoom meeting. If space allows, a love seat adds versatility to seating and adds extra comfort.<\/p>\n

Transforming an unused corner into a stylish home office can breathe new life into your space, as demonstrated by Elizabeth Cinquini Interiors’ design. This office nook, nestled in a vast open-concept great room adjacent to the kitchen, showcases smart design\u00a0choices.<\/p>\n Custom walnut cabinetry not only adds a touch of elegance but also conceals office clutter seamlessly. In the NYC apartment, the closet was sort of a pantry in the hall between the kitchen and the dining area.\u00a0 In the Boston apartment, the closet was in a pass-through dressing room leading into the Primary Bedroom. (see photo above). We used bright color, an amazing translucent desk material, set at the perfect height for our client, and a great light fixture, in order to make the space not feel like a closet.\u00a0 At one point we considered putting in a window into the bedroom but opted for the light fixture instead.<\/p>\n In both projects, gaining a workspace was worth the effort of paring down the storage. The results make our clients want to go to work, and the commute is so fast!
