The most popular building type you\u2019ll find is…<\/span><\/h2>\n

classic Bahamian architecture, we have many well maintained and restored historic homes\u2026<\/span>Some would call it British Colonial design. We have many cottage style homes in town accented with bright colored shutters and all the homes\u00a0have tons of\u00a0character.<\/span><\/p>\n

The average home price is…<\/span><\/h2>\n

That’s hard to pin down due to the small size of the Island and the range of values. On the Beach Homes are 4 to 19 Million. The North end of the Island is more private and more expensive. Beachfront is the most expensive (5 to 19 M). Next is the Harbour (3- 6M). then the Village (2 to 4 M.)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The area’s greatest highlight on our island\u00a0is…<\/span><\/h2>\n

the Pink Sands Beach where the sand is literally pink.\u00a0There\u2019s no other beach in the world like it, it\u2019s magical. A<\/span>lso to simply\u00a0mingle with the eclectic mix of both locals and residents from around the world\u00a0is pretty cool.<\/span><\/p>\n

The area’s best driving-distance getaways are…<\/span><\/h2>\n

everywhere on the island is a short golf cart ride away. Pink Sands Beach is the best\u00a0spot on the island and we have many nearby reefs for diving, excellent boating & fishing opportunities, the option to “island hop” to nearby islands and many restaurants and small\u00a0boutiques for shopping.\u00a0Pink Sands beach is\u00a0one of the most beautiful and well-known beaches in the world.<\/span> Remember you are in the Islands, so a short drive may include a boat ride, but<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>For a day drive, one could check out the sights on Eleuthera. Like the Glass window bridge. Jump into Saffire hole, a cool cliff diving spot on Eleuthera (it’s an Island secret), as well as Preachers Cave. There are the world famous swimming pigs which are a short boat ride away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dunmore overlooking the Pink Sands beach.<\/span>Or the Rock House on the Harbourside. the Landing is another option that’s fabulous overlooking the bay st.<\/span><\/p>\n

G<\/span>usty\u2019s is an all-time\u00a0favorite and has been the go-to spot\u00a0for years. Daddy Ds is another popular night spot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The best spot to go shopping is…<\/span><\/h2>\n

there are so many wonderful boutiques in Harbour Island that it’s hard to choose the best one. For resort clothing such as India Hicks\u2019\u00a0boutique The Sugar Mill, Dake\u2019s Shop, The Blue Rooster<\/span>\u00a0as well as Ms. Mays.<\/span><\/p>\n

The best place to tee off is – <\/span><\/h2>\n

no golf on the island<\/span>\u2026.<\/span>A morning flight to Baha Mar, and back before sundown!<\/span><\/p>\n
