With the FIFA World Cup games officially underway, more than 250 of Miami\u2019s power brokers faced off in support of the Special Olympics as PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter<\/a> played host to a World Cup kick off bash on Wednesday, June 13.<\/p>\n

Event-goers enjoyed cocktails and canap\u00e9s from around the world, each representing a different participating country in the games. From Moscow Mules to Peruvian ceviche, Spanish croquettes and French macaroons, guests were transported around the globe while vying for their chance to score a winning goal. Dozens of brokers faced off against the pro goalie and players on-hand as they took their shot at kicking a goal into the net as PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter offered to make a donation to the Special Olympics for each winning goal.<\/p>\n

As Miami\u2019s only condominium with its own soccer field<\/a>, PARAMOUNT is kicking up the amenity stakes and counts at least six professional soccer players who have already purchased residences in the tower. The three known soccer pros play for the Turkish, Colombian, and Cameroon national teams.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Miami is home to so many soccer stars and fans, we\u2019re excited to kick off the World Cup action at PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter,\u201d said developer Dan Kodsi. \u201cWith Major League Soccer coming soon to Miami and now in the running to host the games in 2026, the city\u2019s interest in soccer is at an all-time high.\u201d<\/p>\n

Continuing the World Cup festivities, PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter will welcome guests throughout the games for watch parties to view the matches on the sales gallery\u2019s oversized 760-square-foot digital screen.<\/p>\n
