On the 76th floor of one of the tallest and most iconic residential buildings in the Western Hemisphere<\/a>, a Frank Gehry-designed penthouse has been offered for rent for the second time in history at $45,000 a month.<\/p>\n

Occupying its own wing in New York by Gehry<\/a>,, the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom residence, spanning 3,771 square feet, is one of the only units in the tower that was designed by architect Frank Gehry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe penthouse at New York by Gehry is more than an apartment; it is a residential sculpture designed as the paradigm of luxury living,\u201d says listing agent David Alex Andrejko of Douglas Elliman.<\/p>\n

Exquisite panoramas of the Hudson and East rivers and the city can be seen from the penthouse that is lined throughout with white oak plank flooring and is sheltered by 10- to 12-foot ceilings,<\/p>\n

In the oversized master bedroom, there is a private sitting area and a custom walk-in closet. The master bathroom, with a glass-encased shower, features limestone flooring and walls.<\/p>\n
