It is located just west of Palm Canyon and south of Vista Chino. This &#8220;Playground to the Stars&#8221; has hosted an impressive list of residents, including Gene Autry, Kirk Douglas, Judy Garland, Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, and Lena Horne. And one of today\u2019s biggest names, Leonardo DeCaprio, owns the former Dinah Shore residence.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/newwebdev.wordpress-developer.us\/hauteresidence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FullSizeRender1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-large wp-image-3702207 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/newwebdev.wordpress-developer.us\/hauteresidence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FullSizeRender1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Palm Springs\" width=\"702\" height=\"527\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newwebdev.wordpress-developer.us\/hauteresidence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FullSizeRender1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/newwebdev.wordpress-developer.us\/hauteresidence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FullSizeRender1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newwebdev.wordpress-developer.us\/hauteresidence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/FullSizeRender1.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vista Las Palmas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just behind Old Las Palmas is the popular mid-century-style neighborhood of Vista Las Palmas, with a majority of homes designed by notable architects Daniel Palmer and William Krisel and built by the famed Alexander construction company. In addition, the famous &#8220;Swiss Miss&#8221;-style, A-frame homes designed by Charles Dubois are also dispersed throughout the neighborhood. This area become home to many celebrities\u2013\u2013including Barry Manilow, Kim Novak, Elivs Presley, and Debbie Reynolds\u2013\u2013as the modernist design took hold. It is also the location of the architecturally significant &#8220;Kaufmann House,&#8221; designed by Richard Neutra in 1946. Kaufmann was a Pittsburg department store executive, who later commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright to Falling Water in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p><em>Images courtesy of William
