It\u2019s out with the old and in with the new for another Las Vegas hotel. The Monte Carlo will be no more after a $450 million transformation by MGM Resorts International<\/a> and Sydell Group<\/a>. So what will become of the former Monte Carlo?<\/p>\n

The property will be split into two distinct developments. In the space, you will find a Las Vegas version of Sydell\u2019s signature NoMad Hotel in New York City. In the other will be the launch of a new luxury hotel named Park MGM. Both hotels will have fully redesigned guest rooms as well as exciting new food and beverage options. Chef Daniel Humm of the award-winning NoMad restaurant and restauranteur Will Guidara are poised to create an entirely new Las Vegas experience. They will boast an Eataly Italian marketplace with cafes, to-go counters, and full-service restaurants all with high-quality products from sustainable Italian and local producers.<\/p>\n

The redesign of MGM Resorts is not a new project. Back in 2009, the conglomerate began a total revamp of the central Las Vegas Strip neighborhood. Thus far it has seen the development of CityCenter, The Park, a spectacular outdoor dining and entertainment district, and the stunning new T-Mobile Arena. The NoMad and Park MGM are the final touches to complete this now seven-year redesign.<\/p>\n
