Academy Award-nominated actor Brad Pitt has joined the design world with a new collection of furniture, made in collaboration with Frank Pollaro (pictured above with Pitt).<\/p>\n

The line, slated for unveiling November 13th through 15th, is said to feature a contemporary, Art Deco feel. The collection will include a dining table, a cocktail table, side tables, club chairs, a bathtub, and a bed with a tropical-hardwood frame.<\/p>\n

Although it may seem a strange cross-over upon first impression, Pitt is actually a design and architecture buff. The actor recently told Architectural Digest<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that he has been doodling furniture ideas since the 1990s.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s, when I first discovered [Charles Rennie] Mackintosh and Frank Lloyd Wright,\u201d says Pitt. \u201cActually, I found Wright in college, when looking for a lazy two-point credit to get out of French. It forever changed my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
